ACSC is now accepting applications for the Wayne Murphy Scholarship. This is a $500 scholarship that is awarded to an ACSC member or someone in the immediate family of an ACSC member. You can Download the Wayne Murphy Scholarship Application HERE and mail it in or come to the June 14th general membership meeting. Contact Scott Hall for more information.

We are no longer accepting renewals or applications for new members. Your next opportunity to join or re-join if your membership expired will be in January of 2013.

We have added a second IDPA Style Meet each month. In addition to the regularly scheduled meet on the 1st Saturday of each month we will now hold a Meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month starting at 6pm. This event is open to the public.

Just a friendly reminder to check the individual range pages on your club website. The range page links can be found to the right side of your screen under Ranges. There is often new and important information about that specific range posted on that ranges page that may or may not be put on the main page. Also remember to check out the calendar for scheduled events. The calendar can be found on the left side of you screen.

I would like to encourage everyone to come to the general meetings. This is a great way to find out about possible activities that might interest you. We are always needing people to help organize and support our activities. Come and make your voice heard.

The rifle range is closed on the first Sunday of each month during silhouette matches from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for safety reasons. For more information see the "Rules of the Range" articles on both the Silhouette Range page and the Rifle Range page. Remember, these ranges do NOT operate independently. Both ranges must be clear before anyone can go down-range to the target areas.

It is the responsibility of each and every member to keep the ranges safe. Make sure you understand and obey all the rules. Each rule is in place for a reason - to keep everyone safe and protect our club's property. If you see someone breaking a rule it is your responsibility to remind them of the rules (which are clearly posted on the ranges) and, if necessary, report them to a club officer. We must never become complacent.. You can review the rules by going to the GENERAL RULES page but remember that each range has its own additional rules which are posted on the range and here on each range page:

The trap shoots are going well. We are averaging about 15 shooters each night. We would like to see some more of you come out. It is also open to the public. So invite a friend and come on out. Check TRAP page for all the info.

Remember: there is a 3D Archery Shoot on the 4th Saturday of each month. This event is open to the public so bring your friends and come try out the new targets. See the Archery Range Page for more information.

The first monthly IDPA Style Meet for 2010 will be held Saturday, April 3rd starting at 09:30 am. This meet is open to the public. Bring your defensive pistol and join us at the ppc range. For more information about these matches check out the pistol range page.
